Modification du RPIconfig sur votre Raspberry PI


Niveau:3

Le Raspberry n’a pas de BIOS (Basic Input Output System) comme sur un ordinateur. Il utilise un fichier config.txt. Le fichier config.txt est lue par le GPU avant l’initialisation du noyau de l’ARM.
Ce fichier permet d’entrer les licences vidéo pour le décodage  hardware MPEG-2 et VC-1.

Ce fichier est lu lors de l’initialisation par le GPU avant que le processeur ARM (et Linux). Par conséquent, il doit être situé sur la première  partition (boot) de votre carte SD, aux côtés bootcode.bin et start.elf.

Toutes les modifications ne prendront effet après que vous avez redémarré votre Raspberry Pi.

Edition des paramètres:

Vous pouvez éditer ce fichier de configuration à partir d’un PC sous Windows, Mac, Linux, ou sur le Raspberry Pi lui-même.

Le format du fichier est sous la forme d’une simple propriété = valeur déclaration sur chaque ligne, où la valeur est un entier ou une chaîne. Les commentaires peuvent être ajoutés, ou les valeurs de configuration existants peuvent être commentées et désactivé en commençant une ligne avec le # caractère.
C’est dans ce fichier qu’il faut saisir les licences pour le décodage matériel vidéo.

Pour éditer ce fichier, utiliser notepad depuis Windows par exemple ou taper la commande suivante sur votre raspberry:
